My mom relaxed for most of her Mommy's Day (as well she should :) - and, until my dad came home, there wasn't much else to do - so I ended up just reading and writing for most of the day.
I will be the first to admit that I have a ridiculous amount of books. I have them tucked in every nook and cranny, and stacked all over the place. What can I say? I love to read :) While I prefer reading mostly fiction, I'll gladly read non-fiction stuff if the subject matter, and/or the writing style, really grabs me. If anyone has any interesting book suggestions, please feel free to leave 'em in a comment.
My current read is Ice Trap by Kitty Sewell. It's not that interesting to me so far, but I'm only on chapter two so I'm giving it the benefit if the doubt. I have a new batch of books that I ordered from Amazon coming in soon - hopefully as soon as tomorrow - so I'm looking forward to that. I need some new reading material for my daily commute. It always makes the rush hour train ride more comfortable when you have a book to bury your head in :)
Well, I hope all the moms out there had an amazing Mother's Day :) Have a great night everyone!

My house is the same way. I'm going to see Jen Lancaster at my Barnes and Noble tonight! So excited :)
Lucky! Her writing is hilarious. Have fun :)
ooooh I love seeing pictures of other people's book shelves, i like this one lots!
Well, thank you very much Lusty :) I absolutely love fiction. I recently bought the rest of the Jean Johnson Sons of Destiny series (all 7 others); and realized that I really need to start utilizing my library card again :)
