The hundred-and-eighty-eighth through hundred-and-ninety-first days...

Well, I'm still sick (which SUCKS!). The fever has left and was replaced by coughing - which sucks even more :( I had the day off today, and P called me to let me know that my boss took a sick day. I can already hear her blaming me for getting her sick on Monday. She'll say it in that half-joking/half-serious way that's always a pain to hear from your manager. Oh well!

When I got to work on Wednesday, I looked like a wreck. My fever had only broken that morning, but I took the morning to rest and headed into work for a half day. My man dropped me off and waited in the car for a while just in case I felt too sick to stay. Wednesday was a real rainy crappy weather day, which pretty much matched how I was feeling.

The sky looked horrible. I'm glad Fall is finally here, but this rain needs to go away.

When I got to work and went to see my boss, she took a look at me and asked me how I was feeling. I won't lie - I looked horrible, so I answered that I was still feeling pretty bad, and she said "Well, maybe you should just go home?" But she said it in a tone of voice that meant I should stay, so I replied "Well, I have a lot of work, but..." thinking that she would let me go. She looked at me and said "You're right, you do have a busy month. You should stay and do what you can, but if you feel like you are going to pass out then you can leave." Can you believe that? I know I couldn't. I just closed my office door and stayed in there for the rest of the day. All I can say is T.G.I.F and thank goodness I had the day off. I needed the rest.

Yesterday was pretty much the same, but I did manage to get one cool pic at work. Kid Cudi came in to handle some union business and was nice enough to take a couple of pics.
