The hundred-and-twenty-fifth day...

Tuesday, July 28, 2009
It was so hazy, hot and humid in the city today...

It smelled like a toilet :( There are many smells that make up the city, and on many days the smells can be wonderful - kind of like an aromatic symphony. Today was not one of those days. The city was especially ripe today - especially the subway. I'm just glad to be home. It's sleeping time.

How did the weather treat all of you today?

Enjoy the rest of the night everyone!

Ewww, nice and pungent! Even in the building I work in, the restrooms smelled stinky!

oohhh...i know that smell. it's not a good one. glad you made it safely home and hoping the smell didn't follow you there.

When its humid around here, the skunks come out and wander into traffic. Thus, they get hit, and the neighborhood smells like skunk. The humidity sure doesn't help, either.

Not really any worse than a toilet smell, but still... unpleasant.

Gross - I hate that nasty stinky summer city smell! Hopefully it gets better!

for the love of pictures

Hey Moonjava :) Thank goodness our restrooms smell decent enough - usually. There have been some horrible incidents though, but that's when I thank goodness that I can choose to use the one on the next floor up instead.

Hey Optimistic :) I'm glad too. The subway smell really is at its worst during the summer and winter months.

Hey Badass :) When I lived in CT, I got pretty familiar with that skunk-hit-by-car smell. It was gross; and it travels so far into the neighborhoods that you almost can't escape it. Humidity is definitely one of nature's torture devices.

Hey Waxy :) Hopefully. I know that I, for one, am more than ready for it to be fall. I'm sick of summer.

Have a wonderful day everyone!
