The one hundredth day...

Friday, July 3, 2009
Sometimes (who am I kidding - often times) I see tourists stop in the middle of the street or in mid-stride on the sidewalk and just stare 'up' in awe. I'm always in such a rush to get wherever I'm going (work, lunch, home, etc.), that I usually just get annoyed and try to push past them while wondering 'What's the big deal'? Then I look up and get reminded...

NYC can have it's moments :)

On another note, does anyone have any interesting 4th of July plans? Any BBQs, fireworks, beach trips? I'm not sure what I'll be doing yet, but I'm hoping to see some fireworks :)

Have a simply fantastic (4th of July) weekend everyone!

Have a great 4th of July! Your independence day is so much more of an event, then our canada day is to us (July 1). I worked that day, then went to get a snack with one of my girls;) nothing special! Hope you enjoy yourself:)

Hey jeanette :) NYC is pretty cool. I do like that I live in another borough though so I can get away from the hustle and bustle a bit :)

Hey Retromus-ik :) Thanks. People here do go all out for the 4th. I wish I had a BBQ to go to (I type this while sending a mental note to my boyfriend :) One of my friends has been in Canada for a year and she made sure to celebrate Canada Day a bit :)

Have a great weekend!

It is pretty impressive. I hope you have a great weekend, too!

P.S. I've been meaning to ask. What type of camera do you use?

Hey Amy :) Haha, that sounds like a good plan :) Thanks for the compliment and I hope you have a wonderful 4th (and weekend)!

Hey Badass :) Thanks. Have a great 4th :) I usually use a Fujifilm FinePix J10, but sometimes switch to a Fujifilm FinePix S1000fd.

Enjoy the rest of the day!

As for my 4th of July plans, nothing much. Just kicking back, having a babeque, and playing with fire. You know, the usual. ;] Have a great weekend! :]

Hey Lee :) Thanks :) I know what you mean. My 4th was very laid back - just hanging out with the family and relaxing.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
