The hundred-and-sixty-second day...

Thursday, September 3, 2009
There's this cemetery that I pass sometimes. It's run down and overgrown with weeds, and some of the headstones are crumbling or have been knocked over. I know that it is very old (though I'm not sure of how old), but it's a sad site to see because this lot is the final resting place for quite a few individuals.

I did catch this little squirrel paying his respects. He was sitting on the headstone for the longest time until I came walking along on the sidewalk and spooked him.

I don't even know who anyone would contact to ask about the upkeep - I mean the next door neighbor is a former furniture store that is now a furniture/lingerie store. Hmmm.

Have a wonderful night everyone. Back to that same reading for me (that material is dense :)

A furniture/lingerie store? What an odd pairing.

for the love of pictures

Hey Jeanette :) Haha, exactly. One stop shopping...in some way :)

Hey Sunshinemeg :) Happy Friday (and Happy Weekend) to you as well.

Hey Badass :) It's a living I guess. I haven't been inside, but I am curious about how things must be set up in there.

Have a great weekend everyone!
