The eighty-second day...

Monday, June 15, 2009
Due to signal issues and a stalled train in the tunnel, I had to do a bit of walking before I could catch a train home tonight. Thank goodness the rain had already stopped, but I was still soaked by the time I got on the train. Humidity, I loathe thee.

A few pics from my walk:

Yet another spectacular fountain :)

Well, I'm off to sleep. Have a great night everyone!

How interesting it is for me, having never been to New York, to see these pictures from the areas that surround your every day life.

Hey Badass :) I'm glad you think it's interesting :) It's cool for me to walk around every so often in the city and check things out. I'm so focused on getting home after work that I usually just rush to the train, so it was nice to enjoy the walk yesterday. Though, it would have been nicer if it was a bit cooler.

Have a great day!

Fidgeting Gidget

Um, I am totally envious that you can see Radio City Music Hall on your "everyday" walk to work. How COOL. I have yet to go to NYC, but I am hoping to one of these days, it just looks like a ton of fun!

Optimistic Pessimist

I hate the humidity too. I tried to run in it the other morning and I thought I was going to die!

Hey FG :) I am lucky to work in the area that I do. It's near a lot of the sights, but it can get a bit too congested with all the tourists. It's great for people watching though.

Hey Optimistic :) Summer is just not my season. I sweat at the drop of a hat and hazy, hot, and humid days are like torture to me. I've said it before, and I'll say it again...thank goodness for AC :)

Enjoy the rest of the day!
